Get to know our fantastic growers and organic farmers!

We are proud of our fantastic organic farmers! Their craftsmanship and commitment to organic farming are essential for producing good flour and delicious bread.
We take every opportunity we get to visit our growers – and are often struck by their humility. How the earth is merely on loan to us, ours to manage for just a short while, before we pass it on to the next generation.
These are farmers dedicated to locally grown produce, to sustainable and organic farming. They are people we are proud to call our friends.

Linus Källgård is what is known as a ‘moonlight farmer’ who, alongside his medical studies, runs a small-scale farm on the Värö peninsula, a couple of kilometres from the mill.
Linus is our smallest grower but a big and colourful character who has worked at both Limabacka Mill and Kustbageriet!

Håkan and his sons David and Christian are good friends of ours at the mill, and their family has been farming the land in Idala, Halland, since the days of emigration.
On the farm, they grow spelt for us, drawing on generations of experience, where tradition, patience and care for the land characterise their work and their organic farming.

We at the mill are particularly delighted to introduce our grower and good friend Adam Paulsson, whose work feels especially important at a time when the earth is more dependent on care than ever before.
Adam’s fossil-free and high-tech farming is based on a deep respect for the land and a conviction that the earth is not ours to own, but to steward for future generations.

Johan Carlsson is an organic farmer from Rolfstorp, between Varberg and Ullared, and has been with us at the mill right from the very start.
He is a skilled grower and a good friend, whose dedication and presence have meant a great deal to our journey.

Brothers Carl and Oskar Kjell run Finsbo Farm and supply organic grain to the mill with great dedication and a long-term perspective.
They are not only skilled organic farmers but also inspiring friends, and our visit to the farm provided a wonderful insight into their journey and the work behind the ingredients.

Björn Rosvall grows emmer for us – one of our most prized heritage varieties – drawing on his extensive experience and taking great care of both the land and the crop.
His genuine interest in agriculture and his commitment to sustainable farming and heritage grain varieties are evident throughout his work as a grower.

In Skåne, we met Julius Andersson, a knowledgeable and dedicated organic farmer who grows Öland wheat for us with great respect for the land.
With calm and thoughtfulness, Julius works with crop rotation and soil health, and his view of the soil as a living whole is very much in line with our own philosophy that truly good ingredients begin long before harvest.
