Millstones are ground by hand
The millstones are removed from the mill to be sharpened by hand – an ancient craft that has almost disappeared.
Today, few people still master this ancient art, but for us it is the heart of the mill. Here we grind our wholemeal flours slowly and gently, keeping the whole grain intact – husk, germ and endosperm.
The result? A flour with more flavour, and bread with a richer character.
An ancient craft, still alive today. 🌾
